4:3:3 For Social Media Posts.
Read Time: 2.0 Minutes
Social media networks can at a time be
fickle. The uncertainty of how often you should post/publish content, what to
publish, what interest's your audience and what to share on your business page
is a common question that a business owner or a digital
marketer thinks about whenever the word content comes on their minds.
Let's get to it...
I’m not a big fun of following a
particular pattern for my post especially on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
because nothing happens exactly from day to day, but there is one thing I like
about the 4:3:3 method. It keeps your mind on your job.
What is this "4:3:3"?
This method means, for every ten posts,
use at least four posts that are related to the industry your business
operates. This can be information that validates your services/products as a
business.
Three posts that are fully related to
your business; your content. These posts are supposed to be a highway for your content marketing.
And finally, two posts talking about
your company; it can be, your employees, what you are doing to enhance your
services/products and one post that relates to your audience; it can be what
is trending, a happy weekend wish or giving a personal kudos to your clients.
Final say!
Never leave negative comments
unattended. Always seek to resolve and admit mistakes with some form of make
up; you don't have to be desperate-be reactive and solve the problem.
If you do that, you not only address the
problem but turn a dissatisfied customer into a happy one but you get an
external ambassador for your brand.
